Hartford Healthcare doctor explains what cholesterol is, how it can negatively impact your life


(WTNH) – Tens of millions of Americans across the United States have high cholesterol, but not all of them are getting the proper treatment. So, what is cholesterol and how can it negatively impact your health?

Answering questions about cholesterol is Dr. Stephanie Saucier, a cardiologist with the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain and Hartford Hospital.
