Hartford HealthCare expert discusses how seasons impact brain size


(WTNH)– New research takes a look at how different seasons affect the physical structure of our brains, something that could lead to more information on certain conditions.

Gregory Book, Research Assistant with the Olin Neuro-Psychiatry Center at Hartford HealthCare’s Institute of Living, tells us about the study, what it is about the weather or season that influences brain size and how this study applies to people with seasonal conditions in the video above.
