NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — In today’s health headlines, mosquitoes in several Connecticut towns tested positive for West Nile virus, a new highly mutated COVID-19 variant is spreading, and three new vaccines for flu, RSV and bacterial infections.

Dr. Onyema Ogbuagu, an associate professor at the Yale School of Medicine and an infectious diseases specialist who cares for patients who are affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS, joined News 8’s Ann Nyberg on News 8 at Noon to discuss these topics.
