NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Late-night blood draws and other inconveniences make it hard for patients to sleep at a hospital, which makes them more susceptible to developing a new illness when they go home.
Dr. Sten Vermund, a pediatrician and professor in the Yale School of Public Health, joined News 8 to discuss what has been dubbed as post-hospital syndrome.
