(WTNH) – Research shows that about 5% of people in the U.S. suffer from heart arrhythmia, also known as an irregular heartbeat.
Some arrhythmias can be completely harmless, while others can be life-threatening. Cardiac electro-physiologist Dr. Meir Friedman joins News 8 to discuss Hartford Healthcare’s Heart and Vascular Institute.
They will discuss what a heart arrhythmia is, what causes it, and how it affects different people.
