NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — It appears there could be a change in screening guidelines for breast cancer.       

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is looking into recommending that women get screened at age 40 from 50.

Dr. Valerie Brutus with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at St. Vincent’s Medical Center joined Lisa Carberg on News 8 Noon to explain what’s behind the proposal.
