Medical expert explains screening options for cardiovascular disease


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Cardiovascular disease leads to more deaths in the U.S. every year — more than all deaths from cancer and from chronic lung diseases combined. The most common form of this is Coronary Heart Disease.

Dr. Brett Nowlan, a non-invasive cardiologist, and director of Men’s Cardiovascular Health, Hartford Healthcare Heart and Vascular Institute, joined News 8 to talk about screening options for cardiovascular disease.
