Lawmakers in Ohio want to add them as qualifying conditions for the state’s medical marijuana program.

33 states, including Connecticut, have a program like this, but each one has different conditions. 

If depression and insomnia make the list in Ohio, lawmakers believe the number of people who have a medical marijuana card will nearly double.
