NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States experiences a stroke. When it comes to stroke care, there is advanced, life-saving technology.
Dr. Kelly Matmati, the stroke program director at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, joined Lisa Carberg on News 8 at Noon to explain the main cause of a stroke and why it is so important to act quickly when someone is experiencing a stroke.
Matmati also explains why strokes are becoming even more common.
