Yale-New Haven Hospital offering free cancer screening

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Free cancer screenings are being offered at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday.

More than 50,000 people are diagnosed with oral, head and neck cancers in the United States every year.

Early detection is key to saving lives.

You can sign up for a free five minute check up from the neck up on Friday. 

The screening will be from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the York Street campus in the special events area. 

Walk ins are welcome.
