Ice is falling from Chicago skyscrapers

Chicago is finally thawing out from the extreme cold weather and it’s causing some dangerous situations for those walking in the downtown area.

The windy city is thawing out and that can be hazardous if you’re walking around downtown Chicago.

Video footage can be seen of giant chunks of ice falling from the Willis Tower and John Hancock building – two of the tallest skyscrapers in the United States. 

Police had to close down a number of streets surrounding the buildings to prevent anyone form getting hit. 

There are no reports of any injuries at this moment.
