Jewett City man arrested on charges of child pornography


JEWETT CITY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Jewett City man has been charged with child pornography.

Police said Brian Lasalle has been charged with possession of child pornography in the first degree.

The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit served the arrest warrant.

They said the investigation was started in December of 2015 after files of suspected child pornography was found from the internet account assigned to Lasalle’s home.

Police seized computers from his home during the investigation.

They said the files of suspected child pornography was found on the computer.

His bond was set at $50,000.
