WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — It looks like the Wallingford fireworks show will go on thanks to some fundraising.
The show will be held on the knoll by Moran Middle School on Saturday July 2.
It is set to start approximately 9:20 p.m.
There is no rain date.
Wallingford fireworks displays date back to 1777.
Since then volunteers have stepped up to fund raise the $40,000 to keep them, but stopped this year.
Town chairman Craig Fishbein invested the time on his own to solicit the donations for this year.
