WEST HARTFORD. Conn. (WTNH) — Firefighters are responding to a house fire caused by a lightning strike in West Hartford Monday morning.

Fire officials told News 8 the fire started in the basement of a home on the corner of Gerthmere and Red Top drives.

There are no confirmed injuries at this time.
