Law firm cuts ties with Greenwich man caught in college cheating scandal

The Greenwich lawyer who pleaded guilty to his role in the nationwide college admissions cheating scheme is now out of a job.

According to reports, Manahttan-based Willkie Farr & Gallagher is cutting ties with its co-chairman Gordon Caplan.

Caplan agreed Friday to admit to charges that he paid bribes to rig his daughter’s college admissions test. 

Caplan apologized for what happened and said his daughter didn’t know anything about it.
