State leaders are working to strengthen cybersecurity here in Connecticut.
A first of its kind election cybersecurity task force met at the State Capitol on Monday.

The task force is figuring out how to invest more than $5 million of federal funds into protecting election cybersecurity.
Last week, Senator Richard Blumenthal and Secretary of the State Denise Merrill announced Connecticut had received $5.1 million from the federal government to help secure the state’s voter registration system.
