Lembo projects surplus for state’s General Fund


Connecticut’s main spending account is reportedly still on track to have a surplus.

The comptroller says he projects the state’s General Fund will have a nearly $158 million surplus when the fiscal year ends on June 30th.

That number is less than previous estimates.

Governor Dannel Malloy’s office projected that number to be closer to $170 million.
