Local church donating 40 trees one year after tornado damage


A local church is pitching in to help replace trees destroyed by the tornado in Hamden with an announcement on Wednesday. 

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Hamden is donating 40 red maple trees to replace the trees that were lost in the tornado.

There will be a mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday to celebrate.
