Bridgeport, Conn. (WTNH) – Cinépolis USA, a luxury cinema complex is set to build a new movie theater at the upcoming Steepointe Harbor project now underway. Mayor Bill Finch made the announcement yesterday that the 50,000 square foot cinema is set to open in 2017.
This is the first time Cinépolis USA’ will open a theater in Connecticut. This is the company’s second hybrid location. They will offer two different types of theaters. One is “Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas” and the other is “Cinépolis.”
Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas will have reclining leather seats and in-theater waiter service and dining with full bar. The service will be available at the touch of a button. Meanwhile, Cinépolis auditoriums will offer comfortable seating and access to the gourmet menu and full bar in the lobby area.

Steelpointe Harbor, is a peninsula ringed by waterfront along Yellow Mill Channel and the Pequonnock River with the Long Island Sound on its southern edge and I-95 and the city’s East Side on the north end.
