Macy’s department store to close Meriden location


MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Macy’s has announced they will be closing its Meriden location sometime in March or April.

The department store says that a clearance sale will begin in January and then shut down for good in eight to twelve weeks.

Employees who couldn’t find work at other locations will be able eligible for severance pay.
