Make-A-Wish Connecticut was on hand alongside caregivers and family members this Friday.

Jayleene Fatcentu has an auto immune disorder.

She was given a trip to Disney World from Make-A-Wish Connecticut.

She’s looking forward to spending quality time with her family.

“I’m excited that we get to spend time together,” said Fatcentu.

Three wishes were granted, and countless memories are set to be made.

It’s an opportunity to focus on fun, and not the critical illnesses they face.

“This is so special everyone in this room just feels tingles to grant and see three children that we care for and their families have their wishes coming true,” said Cynthia Sparer Ex. Director at Yale-New Haven Childrens Hospital.

For these teens who spend so much time in treatment, it’s a reprieve for body and mind.

“It’ll be nice to get away from everything, the stuff that’s been happening the last few months,” said Aaron Cusson – Make A Wish Recipient.
