Making the grade: CT schools named ‘Blue Ribbon Schools’

CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — Four schools in Connecticut have been named a “National Blue Ribbon School.”

The recognition by the Department of Education is based on a school’s overall academic performance, or progress in ‘closing achievement gaps.’

The schools being honored are North Mianus Elementary School in Greenwich, Guilford High School in Guilford, John Barry Elementary School in Meriden, and Tracey Magnet School in Norwalk.
