MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Middletown man is under arrest after allegedly placing an ad for a “smokable remedy for stress.”
Middletown and Connecticut State Police say they were made aware of the online ad stating that “DJ” was hoping to sell “instant anxiety and depression relief” for $420.
An investigation revealed that “DJ” was Daniel Guerino Demelis. Police say undercover officers were able to buy the drugs from Demelis after contacting him through text message from a number Demelis provided on the ad.
Investigators arrested Demelis and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He was held on a $50,000 bond pending a Friday arraignment.
