CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Pulled over….again.

The man who was stopped by Massachusetts State Police for driving with an overloaded truck on I-91 in Springfield five days ago, has been cited again for the same offense.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told News 8’s sister station WWLP an officer stopped the truck on Memorial Drive Monday morning for having an unsecured load– this time a bed full of brush. The driver was also cited for obstructed tail lights, and obstructed license plates.

Wilk said the officer will be in contact with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles to discuss possibly having the driver be re-educated on the rules of the road.

If you ever see what appears to be an unsafe or unsecured load, Wilk says you should call police before anyone gets hurt.
