Massachusetts man to run Boston Marathon in honor of Sandy Hook dad who took his own life


People usually spend a year training for the Boston Marathon, but a Massachusetts man is only taking a few weeks to prepare.

Dan Friedman decided to sign up to honor the late Jeremy Richman, the Sandy Hook dad who died by suicide last week.

Friedman said when he heard about Richman he was compelled to run the marathon in his honor.

The Boston Marathon is on April 15. Friedman is believed to be the last ‘official’ registrant.
