Maurice Clarett was once college football’s top running back, good enough to lead Ohio State to a National Championship.
But, substance abuse and legal troubles derailed Clarett’s pro career before it ever got started.
Now, after spending years in prison, Clarett has turned his life around with a promising business career and starting a program to help at-risk children make the right choices in life.
This week, Clarett received an award for community service from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
He also sat down with News 8 anchor Keith Kountz to talk about his past, the present and his goals for the future.
