Milford police seek woman accused of opening credit cards with stolen identity

Police in Milford are looking for a woman who allegedly used a stolen identity to open credit card accounts.

According to officials, an investigation began in September into an identity theft and fraud case.

Police believe the suspect opened the accounts at multiple stores in Meriden, Trumbull and Stamford malls. It is not known if she has opened accounts at stores in other towns.

Anyone who can help identify the woman or the man believed to be her accomplice is asked to contact the Milford Police Department by calling 203-783-4727.
