Missouri mom left with botched brows after microblading procedure

News

Microblading is a popular procedure for woman to get perfect eyebrows, but one Missouri woman said the treatment did just the opposite.

Jami Ledbetter, a 42-year-old mom of three, wound up with botched brows after a treatment last November.

She couldn’t cover it up with make-up. She even went to a woman who said she could camouflage her eyebrows with tattoos, but no luck.

Ledbetter can laugh about what happened now, and she’s sharing her story as a warning to those considering microblading.

One Missouri lawmaker is using Ledbetter’s case as basis for a new bill to better regulate the procedure.
