(WTNH)–Amber Cox got into sports watching the great Larry Bird and the Celtics with her dad. It sparked her interest in the game, which ultimately led to a career in sports.

Cox is now the Vice President of Sports at Mohegan Sun, which houses the Connecticut Sun and New England Black Wolves. She’s spent 25 years working in the business, including with the Big East and WNBA.

Her immediate focus is growing the Sun and Black Wolves brands, and encouraging young women in business. What’s her advice?
