Monroe PD to host annual Penguin Plunge at Wolf Park


Happening today the Monroe Police Department is hosting their 9th annual Penguin Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics. 

It’s taking place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at great Hollow Lake in Wolf Park. 

The money raise will help more than 60,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The plunge has raised over $148,000 since it first started.
