96-year-old crossing guard recognized as safety beacon for California elementary students


For the past thirty years, a 96-year-old crossing guard has been sitting under the same tree in California.

He’s now being recognized for his dedication in the community. Jack Schreckengost sits and waits for elementary school students to cross the street morning and afternoon.
