Attorney of California man accused of driving into group of people claims it was an accident

New developments in the case of a California man accused of intentionally driving into a group of pedestrians earlier this week.

The attorney for Isaiah Peoples said his client did not hit those people on purpose.

He claims that the crash that hurt eight people was the act of a mental disorder.

Peoples is an army veteran with a history of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

But investigators said peoples targeted the victims based on their race.
