A man from Charlottesville was accused of plowing into counter protesters during a white supremacist rally.
21-year-old James Fields Jr. changed his plea from ‘not guilty’ to ‘guilty’ earlier Wednesday.
He did it to avoid the death penalty.
He’s facing 29 federal charges for the incident.
