Controversial NSA surveillance program ends


A controversial NSA surveillance program put into place after the 9/11 terrorist attacks has apparently been shut down.

That program relied on bulk information collected from U.S. phone records.

The NSA admitted last year that the program was dealing with technical glitches that led to content being obtained that the agency did not have the authority to collect.
