“Parkland: Inside Bulding 12,” makes its debut Friday in Orlando.
That is one month shy of the first anniversary of the rampage at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Filmmaker Charlie Minn said his film gives firsthand accounts of what happened on that fateful day.

“In this case, all of the attention was given to the killer and the activists. The activists weren’t even inside the building. So, I felt this was the proper time to give the survivors a voice, that were actually inside the 1200 building,” he explained.
Among those who took part in the project was former Parkland student Kaitlyn Jesionowski. She said she saw two of her fellow classmates die that day.
