Handshakes at the office may soon be banned.

According to a report in The Sun, handshakes may be banned in the workplace in order for companies to avoid expensive sexual harassment claims.

“They may just say ‘no contact at all’ because there’s no gray area,” Kate Palmer, an associate director at Peninsula, told The Sun.

A survey by Totaljob found that 75 percent of people want a complete ban on physical contact in the workplace.
