Senate confirms Jeffrey Rosen as deputy Attorney General, replacing Rod Rosenstein


The Senate, approving a new Deputy Attorney General on Thursday.

They voted along party lines to confirm Jeffrey Rosen, to replace Rod Rosenstein.

Former Deputy AG Rosenstein supervised Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference, until it was handed over to Attorney General William Barr.

Rosen is currently Deputy Transportation Secretary.
