State Department of Labor reminds workers to file for extended unemployment benefits

(WTNH) — The State Department of Labor has sent out reminders about extending unemployment benefits.

The DOL commissioner is urging workers who are about to exhaust their “Pandemic emergency unemployment compensation benefits” to file for extended benefits.

Since March 13, Connecticut’s DOL has received more than 656,000 unemployment applications.. Just over 632,000 of those have been processed.
