Study: Number of car crashes dropped due to texting ban


A new study shows the campaigns seem to be working especially the ones that raise awareness of the dangers of texting while driving

The findings published in the American Journal of Public Health show emergency room visits due to vehicles crashes fell between 2007 and 2014 in states with bans on texting while driving.

In Connecticut, drivers can only use hands free devices while behind the wheel.
