Water safety tips from U.S. Coast Guard


The United States Coast Guard wants you and your loved ones to be safe on the water.

They want to remind you when you’re boating, wear a life jacket at all times. Also, keep an eye on alcohol consumption

It is illegal to be under the influence while operating a boat. 

They also want you to be cautious about riding on the bow and the dangers it can cause. 

“Bow riding is basically means there is a limb over the bow. It could be reaching with your hands or dangling your feet, or sitting on the bow where the boat is not designed to hold you. That is a big, big issue and is definitely not allowed.”

The Coast Guard wants you to have fund but be mindful of safety. Make a plan in case of an emergency.
