Virginia Senator Mark Warner said his new bill would increase accountability and speed up the repair process.

Military leaders admit they’re partly to blame for the issue getting out of hand by failing to keep track of private housing contractors.

The new bill would require the Department of Defense to create an electronic system to help make sure contractors are fixing problems.
