New Britain brothers killed in fire laid to rest

News

Two New Britain brothers who died in a fire in late February were laid to rest on Saturday.

17-year-old Elijah Little and 29-year-old Shaheem Davis died when their house caught fire. Little had initially escaped the fire, but went back in to try and save his older brother who had autism.

A community in New Britain recently held a vigil for the brothers.  

The funeral took place at New Britain High School at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
