New Britain Police Arrest 7 in Prostitution Sting

New Britain Police arrested 7 people Thursday as part of a prostitution sting

Police conducted the operation in the North Street area of the city after several complaints of illegal activity were reported in the area. Police say they will continue to conduct operations like these that reduce criminal activity in the community. 

The following women were arrested: 

Marisol Batista, 7/25/70, 76 Smith Street, NB, Prostitution

Shakiya Danay Clay, 6/13/1991, 107 Martin Luther King Drive, NB, Prostitution

Rainy Symone Laviana, 9/11/93, 66 Sexton Street, NB, Prostitution, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Chrissey Sears, 6/19/1983, 41 Russ Lane, Bristol, Prostitution, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Jolene Rodriguez, 12/24/1974, Homeless, Prostitution

Areeta Mae Soto, 1/22/1971, 15 Winthrop Street, NB, Prostitution

Amber Lynn Sacco, 6/30/1992, 96 Winter Street, NB Prostitution and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon
