New Haven annual tree lighting lit up Elm City’s Christmas spirit


The holiday spirit is well underway in Elm City has the annual tree lighting commenced on Sunday. 

The annual tree lighting at Goffe Street Park was held on Sunday. 

Coats, hats,scarves, and gloves were collected for those in need. 

New Haven‘s Alder Jill Marks hosted the event. 

“This is the holidays that we call it because we are hoping everyone will join in and be part of this. Jewish, Latino, Black, Caucasian – whatever you call yourself. This is for you. This is for us. all together we’re one.”

There was lots of singing and free pizza was given out as well.
