New Haven firefighters respond to fire behind home in Maltby Place area

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The New Haven Fire Department responded to the Maltby Place area on Wednesday for a reported fire being seen behind a home.

Officials say the location they were dispatched to was 28 Maltby Place.

Upon arrival, crews discovered it was a small trash can fire that they then quickly put out.

No injuries have been reported.
