NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven students will take park in a special assembly Monday.

Representatives from “Sandy Hook Promise” will help children at the John C. Daniels School understand and recognize social isolation.

According to Executive Directors of Sandy Hook Promise, Mark Barden and Nicole Hockley, in every school and community, there are young people who suffer silently because they feel left out, alone or invisible.

The assembly is part of a week-long celebration of the program “Start With Hello“. The goal is to create a culture of inclusion within their school.
