New London man charged with robbing another man at knife point

A New London man was arrested for allegedly robbing another man at knife point on Saturday afternoon.

Police say that at around 3:48 p.m., while investigating an unrelated matter in the area of 18 Brewer Street, an officer saw a disturbance involving two men. 

An investigation revealed that one of the men had pulled a knife on the other and robbed him of money.

No one was injured and police were able to recover the knife used on the scene. It was also learned that the men knew each other. 

The suspect, 51-year-old Eric Rowe, was arrested and charged with robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon, threatening and breach of peace.
