(WTNH) — A new study suggests the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine could be less effective against the new Delta variant.

The authors conclude that 13 million Americans who got the J&J shot may need a booster but experts point out these findings contradict earlier studies indicating that vaccine likely does work well against Delta.

This study looked at blood samples from only 10 patients.
