News 8 talks 1-on-1 with the leading Gubernatorial candidates Monday


News 8 is Your Local Election Headquarters, and on Monday we spoke with the three leading candidates for Governor to find out what they’re doing to drive voters to the polls on Tuesday.

We first spoke with Republican candidate Bob Stefanowski, who stopped by News 8 to talk with George Colli about how he is feeling going into Election Day, and how he intends to spend the rest of the day campaigning on Monday.

After speaking to a group of seniors at the East Haven Senior Center, Democratic candidate Ned Lamont came over to talk with News 8’s Mark Davis about the message he wants to drive home to all Connecticut voters, regardless of party.

Petitioning candidate Oz Griebel spoke with News 8’s Bob Wilson Monday afternoon to discuss his busy day of campaigning, and why Connecticut voters should move away from the traditional parties in favor of a petitioning candidate.
