No charges against woman caught in center of ShopRite racist tirade

News

There will be no charges against Corinne Magoveny-Terrone, who was in the racist tirade/spitting incident caught on video in ShopRite of East Haven last month. There will also be no charges against the male victim.

Prosecutors cited a lack of coorperation by the victims in this case.

An East Haven Police Department spokesman said “The State’s Attorney’s Office informed us there is probable cause to make dual breach of peace arrests in the ShopRite incident. We are declining to make dual breach of peace arrests because we don’t believe the male victim in the video deserves to be arrested.”
